Substituent Effects on Cyanine Dyes Vary with Position and Chain Length
In cyanines, substituent effects vary as a function of substituent position and cyanine length. Electron‐donating‐ and ‐withdrawing groups at meso‐ and α‐positions of 4n+1/4n−1 long cyanines (n = 1, 2, 3…) cause opposing, hypsochromic and bathochromic shifts of the 1st UV–vis absorption bands.

A Soft Robotic Fish With a Dielectric Elastomer Actuator Body and Negative Stiffness Spine
This work introduces a bio‐mimetic soft robotic fish driven by fiber‐reinforced dielectric elastomer actuators integrated as its body. By prestretching this active skin against a flexible spine, a negative stiffness system is created, enabling large‐amplitude bending.

Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. We demonstrated that high humidity worsened psoriasis relapse in murine psoriasiform skin inflammation by increasing skin‐resident memory CD8+ cells via upregulating IL‐15Rα on keratinocytes. The increases in IL‐15Rα and memory CD8+ cells were attributed to S. nepalensis and its metabolite ADMA in skin exposed to high humidity.
