Ambiguity‐Aware Receding‐Horizon Optimization of Wind‐Hybrid Energy Storage Systems Using Type‐3 Fuzzy Modeling for Multimarket Participation

A Type‐3 fuzzy ambiguity encoder converts rolling wind, price, reserve‐activation, and confidence features into central estimates and nested uncertainty bounds. These parameters are updated within a receding‐horizon MILP/MIQP that coordinates wind, battery, and supercapacitor capacity across day‐ahead and ancillary‐service markets.

Miocene to Quaternary Tectonostratigraphic Evolution of the Northern Section of the Burdur‐Fethiye Shear Zone, South‐Western Türkiye

New zircon ages reveal that lacustrine sedimentation initiated in the Late Miocene (Messinian), revising earlier Pliocene age assignments. The study results support the interpretation of the northern BFSZ as a broad left‐lateral transtensional shear zone rather than a discrete sinistral fault or simple extensional graben array.
