Acaricidal Activity of Methyl Palmitate to T. cinnabarinus

2009 3rd International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2009
Methyl palmitate, a kind of fatty acid methyl ester, has been found in many plants. Many biological functions of methyl palmitate have been found. Recently we isolated the methyl palmitate from the green walnuts husks and found it has acaricidal activity that had not been reported before.

Acaricidal and insecticidal activities of three synthetic oxazolidinones

Pesticide Science, 1991
AbstractThe effects of three synthetic 2‐oxazolidinones were investigated on two arthropod pests: (1) Boophilus microplus (Canestrinii), the Southern cattle tick; and (2) Cylas formicarius elegantulus (Summer), a sweet potato weevil.

Effect of acaricides on the activity of a Boophilus microplus glutathione S-transferase

Veterinary Parasitology, 2004
In the present study, we report the effect of several acaricides on the enzyme activity of a Boophilus microplus recombinant glutathione S-transferase (rGST). GST was expressed in Escherichia coli and was purified with glutathione (GSH) affinity column chromatography.

Orally active acaricidal peptide toxins from spider venom

Toxicon, 2006
Numerous species of ticks and mites (collectively known as acarines) are serious pests of animals, humans, and crops. There are few commercially available acaricides and major classes of these chemicals continue to be lost from the marketplace due to resistance development or deregistration by regulatory agencies.

Acaricidal activity of Cassia alata against Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) annulatus

Experimental and Applied Acarology, 2011
Using adult immersion test, the acaricidal activity of ethanolic extracts of leaves of Cassia alata L. was studied against Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) annulatus. The efficacy was assessed by measuring per cent adult mortality, inhibition of fecundity and hatching rate. The ethanolic extract of C.

Acaricidal activity and enzyme inhibitory activity of active compounds of essential oils against Psoroptes cuniculi

Veterinary Parasitology, 2019
Plant essential oils and its chemical compositions are commonly applied in medicinal and other industries due to their broad advanced pharmacological activities. In the present study, we systematically evaluated the acaricidal activities of twelve compounds of essential oils against Psoroptes cuniculi in vitro and in vivo.

Synthesis and acaricidal activity of novel fluorinated benzothiazolyl pyrethroids

Pesticide Science, 1992
AbstractA series of novel pyrethroids containing a benzothiazole ring which replaces the phenoxy substituent in the benzyl ester portion have been synthesised. The compounds prepared were from four types of acid substituent, and were screened for acaricidal activity against Tetranychus viennenist, Zacher.

Synthesis, insecticidal and acaricidal activities of novel 2-arylpyrroles

Science China Chemistry, 2012
To search for novel 2-arylpyrroles with unique biological activities, a series of novel 2-arylpyrrole derivatives were designed and synthesized, and their structures were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, MS spectrometry, and elemental analysis. Their insecticidal activities against Lepidopteran pests (e.g. Mythimna separata) and acaricidal

Structure-activity correlations for acaricidal hydrazones.

Il Farmaco; edizione scientifica, 1976
The acaricidal activity of hydrazones was studied by means of the Free-Wilson method. The importance of both lipophilic and electronic effects is pointed out.

[Acaricidal, chemosterilant and insecticidal activity of triazine derivatives].

Il Farmaco; edizione scientifica, 1982
A large number of 1-aryl-3,3-dialkyl triazenes and 1,2-diphenyl triazenes variously substituted in the 3 position with OH and alkyl groups were prepared and studied for acaricide activity against Panonychus ulmi and chemosterilizing and insecticidal activity against Musca domestica.
