This study evaluates whether the initial application of pendimethalin can increase the efficiency of ioxynil and ACCase inhibitor treatments in controlling weeds in direct seeding onion. The experiment was carried out in a commercial field in Ituporanga city, Santa Catarina State, Brazil. The onion cultivar Bola Precoce was used.

Foramsulfuron remains effective on Pro‐197 Poa annua, but co‐formulation with thiencarbazone reduces efficacy due to limited activity and antagonism. Therefore, foramsulfuron + thiencarbazone should be used in fields without ALS‐resistant weeds to ensure effective in‐crop control.

Seedbank change following adoption of integrated weed management (IWM) for a mixed population of ACCase-resistant and -susceptible green foxtail (Setaria viridis) in a rotation experiment [PDF]
The germinable seedbank of a rotation experiment was characterized in the spring of 2017 to determine the response of an ACCase-resistant green foxtail (Setaria viridis (L.) Beauv.) biotype and the total weed community to the crop phases and herbicide ...

The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.
