This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

Positive Lyapunov Exponents for Quasiperiodic Szego cocycles
In this paper we first obtain a formula of averaged Lyapunov exponents for ergodic Szego cocycles via the Herman-Avila-Bochi formula. Then using acceleration, we construct a class of analytic quasi-periodic Szego cocycles with uniformly positive Lyapunov

Stochastic models of Lagrangian acceleration of fluid particle in developed turbulence [PDF]
Modeling statistical properties of motion of a Lagrangian particle advected by a high-Reynolds-number flow is of much practical interest and complement traditional studies of turbulence made in Eulerian framework.

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Fermi acceleration and suppression of Fermi acceleration in a time-dependent Lorentz Gas
We study some dynamical properties of a Lorentz gas. We have considered both the static and time dependent boundary. For the static case we have shown that the system has a chaotic component characterized with a positive Lyapunov Exponent.

Nonlinear Radiation Pressure and Stochasticity in Ultraintense Laser Fields [PDF]
The radiation force on a single electron in an ultraintense plane wave ($a = eE/mc\omega \sim 1$) is calculated and shown to be proportional to $a^4$ in the high-$a$ limit for arbitrary waveform and polarization.

In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

Seismicity anomalies prior to the 13 December 2008, Ms=5.7 earthquake in Central Greece [PDF]
This investigation has applied a recent methodology to identify seismic quiescence and seismic acceleration, prior to the occurrence of the 13 December 2008, Ms=5.7 earthquake in Central Greece.

Icequakes coupled with surface displacements for predicting glacier break-off
A hanging glacier at the east face of Weisshorn (Switzerland) broke off in 2005. We were able to monitor and measure surface motion and icequake activity for 25 days up to three days prior to the break-off.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing
