Digital editions have some distinct features that are not present in digital libraries. Therefore it is somewhat worrisome that there are far more digital libraries than digital editions. This essay argues that the reason for this is not only a pressure towards all-inclusiveness but also the fact that scholarly editions are addressing both scholars and

The increasing provision of Web-based information resources has moved from a simple text interface to dynamic and interactive designs. While this move has provided people with a more creative and flexible experience, there are dangers that some people will be excluded because they cannot use standard methods of access.

Proceedings of the 3rd Innovations in Theoretical Computer Science Conference, 2012
We introduce a notion of non-black-box access to computational devices (such as circuits, formulas, decision trees, and so forth) that we call restriction access. Restrictions are partial assignments to input variables. Each restriction simplifies the device, and yields a new device for the restricted function on the unassigned variables.

Making accessibility accessible: strategy and tools
2021 IEEE 18th Annual Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC), 2021Standards, rules and principles that offer useful recommendations for producing accessible content do exist, but conformance is often not adequately enforced by actual implementations. It is fairly frequent for content authors to produce material that ends up not being accessible without them even noticing it, even when using specialized tools and ...

The goal of this project is to make the Web more accessible by providing some of the features naturally available to sighted users to users with visual impairments.
