Accessing semi-structured databases
Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Intelligent Semantic Web-Services and Applications, 2010Due to appearance of varied semi-structured databases on Internet and Intranet, knowingly and unknowingly huge amount of Information grow at a fast pace. These databases evolve very quickly; like run time report generated by ERPs, World-Wide Web with its HTML pages, text files, bibliographies, various logs generated etc.

A structure for access control lists
Software: Practice and Experience, 1979AbstractIn order to obtain concise specifications of access rights, the possibility of granting access rights to groups of users was introduced. This gives rise to the problem of forming specifications which refer to arbitrary unions and intersections of groups. The problem is solved by means of a special list structure.

Abstract This chapter explains central counterparty (CCP) access structures. It describes clearing member types, client clearing models under European and US law, and the relatively new type of direct access models. The chapter does this by illustrating a concrete case study: the (over-the-counter, OTC) access structures of Eurex ...

On nucleotide solvent accessibility in RNA structure
Gene, 2010Sequence dependence of solvent accessibility in globular and membrane proteins is well established. However, this important structural property has been poorly investigated in nucleic acids. On the other hand investigation of structural determinants of transcriptional and post-transcriptional processes in gene expression are also in a primitive stage ...

Secret sharing with access structures in a hierarchy
18th International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications, 2004. AINA 2004., 2004We propose a secret sharing scheme with the property of access structures in a hierarchy. We employ the concept of admission tickets to delegate the access right from ancestors to their descendants. Each participant group has an authorized access structure and each access structure has its own secret key.

Transition, EU Accession and Structural Convergence
Empirica, 2003The article analyzes that how much and to what directionthe inherited structure of the Central and East Europeancandidate countries was transformed in recent years, andwhat this shift meant for their real convergence in theenlarged EU. A rearrangement of historical importanceoccurred across the main sectors contributing to GDP, inthe framework of which

Structural accessibility and similarity of possible worlds
Journal of Philosophical Logic, 1992The central point of the combinatorial possible worlds theory is to develop a concept of a possible world as a possible combination of universals and individuals. In such a context one of the main problems is to distinguish two basic sorts of combinations: the possible ones and the impossible ones.

Experimental evaluation of hypertext access structures
Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice, 2002AbstractTransient hypertextual access structures (THASs) are temporary graphs formed automatically on the basis of the situation‐dependent information needs of software engineers. The approach is implemented in the HyperSoft system, which is a hypertext‐based software maintenance support tool.
