Accessing Accessions: Biobanks and Benefit-Sharing
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2012Following an introduction to some of the issues facing biobanks and their relationship to accessing various materials, an example of the work done by one recently visited biobank site is described. The types of material held in a sample of biobanks in different jurisdictions are discussed, along with proposals for further research in the area.
