GBASCs are MMRp tumours, exhibiting minimal HER2 overexpression and elevated PD‐L1 expression compared to adenocarcinomas. Pathological assessment of post‐neoadjuvant treatment (NAT) breast specimens uses more laboratory resources compared with non‐NAT cases. The highest resource utilization (specimen resampling, number of tissue blocks submitted, pathologist review) occurred when the tumour bed is not grossly identifiable.
