Cardiovascular Differences Between Cold-acclimatized and Heat-acclimatized Chickens
Research in Veterinary Science, 1966SUMMARY Rectal temperatures, respiratory rates, cardiac outputs, heart rates, blood pressures and pulse pressures were measured in groups of male and female adult chickens acclimatized to environments of 0°C. and 31°C. Measurements were made in the environment to which the birds were acclimatized.

Acclimatization to Hearing Aids
Ear and Hearing, 1997To investigate acclimatization to hearing aids.Forty-eight subjects took part in a study in which hearing aid benefit was measured four times over the initial 3 mos of participation. At the start, 24 subjects were experienced hearing aid users and 24 had never worn a hearing aid before.
