Journal of Indian College of Cardiology, 2013 Abstract We present the image of an accordion effect that developed during angioplasty of the right coronary artery. The predisposing factors and mechanism are described. Young interventionists should be aware of this effect, in order to avoid misinterpretation and hence mismanagement of these lesions.
