The accordion effect

open access: yesJournal of Indian College of Cardiology, 2013
Abstract We present the image of an accordion effect that developed during angioplasty of the right coronary artery. The predisposing factors and mechanism are described. Young interventionists should be aware of this effect, in order to avoid misinterpretation and hence mismanagement of these lesions.

V2CTx MXene as a Sacrificial Promoter for NiFe Catalyst for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
These findings demonstrate that V2CTx functions beyond passive conductive support as an active electronic participant whose structural legacy sustains durable performance even after vanadium leaching in Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) Electrolysers. ABSTRACT Nickel‐iron layered double hydroxides (NiFe‐LDH) show excellent activity, their poor conductivity

Electroactive Hydrogel Enabling Feedback‑Responsive Monitoring and Regulation of Inflammation for Chronic Wound Therapy

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
An electroactive hydrogel enables feedback‐guided chronic wound therapy through ROS‐responsive sensing and on‐demand treatment. It allows real‐time H2O2 monitoring to provide inflammation feedback, coupled with efficient ROS‐scavenging, antibacterial activity, and immunomodulation to polarize macrophages.

Use of the Ion Robot in the Diagnosis of Pulmonary Nodules: Fine Needle Aspiration Versus Cryobiopsy

open access: yesDiagnostic Cytopathology, Volume 54, Issue 8, Page 562-567, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Robotic‐assisted bronchoscopy platforms provide an innovative approach to the sampling of pulmonary nodules. As compared to other technologies, fiber‐optic shape‐sensing instrumentation allows for a more precise, accurate location and sampling of the target lesion with fewer complications.
