Accordion effect in right coronary artery mimicking dissection

Stiffness‐Programmable Origami Robots With Tendon‐Driven Actuation via Multimaterial 3D Printing
Motion diversity is achieved in a tendon‐driven origami robot through programmable stiffness rather than modified actuation. Multimaterial 3D printing embeds soft creases, modular inserts redirect identical tendon inputs into distinct behaviors, and variable‐stiffness inserts enable real‐time switching.

Accordion effect – Lesson for a novice interventionist during angioplasty
Abstract Accordion effect is a transient appearance of stenotic lesions after crossing the guidewire in a tortuous vessel during percutaneous coronary intervention. Removal of the guide wire normally leads to the complete resolution of these lesions. Young interventionists should be aware of this effect, in order to avoid misinterpretation and hence ...

The accordion phenomenon of the left anterior descending(LAD) artery
Accordion phenomenon , during routine angioplasty procedure, is produced by mechanical alteration of the geometry and curvature of a tortuous vessel by stiff PCI wire, resulting in invagination and shortening of the vessel wall.
