IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2017In this paper, a novel accumulate-repeat-accumulate-check-accumulate (ARACA) code is proposed as a subclass of protograph-based low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes. The key feature of the proposed ARACA code is represented by the outer connection doping in the protograph.

Military Communications Conference, 2004., 2005In this paper we propose an innovative coded modulation scheme called "accumulate repeat accumulate coded modulation" (ARA coded modulation). This class of codes can be viewed as serial turbo-like codes, or as a subclass of low density parity check (LDPC) codes that are combined with high level modulation.
