Impact of the Si Electrode Morphology and of the Added Li‐Salt on the SEI Formed Using EMIFSI‐Based Ionic‐Liquid Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2025.
The early‐stage formation and evolution of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on binder‐free silicon electrodes is investigated by advanced spectroscopic techniques and controlled galvanostatic cycling. The influence of electrode crystallinity and morphology on passivation film composition and thickness is demonstrated, offering valuable insights ...

Implementation of Secondary Index on Cloud Computing NoSQL Database in Big Data Environment

open access: yesScientific Programming, Volume 2015, Issue 1, 2015., 2015
This paper introduces the combination of NoSQL database HBase and enterprise search platform Solr so as to tackle the problem of the secondary index function with fast query. In order to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach, the assessment using Cost‐Performance ratio has been done for several competitive benchmark databases

Remains of Insectivores and Rodents of recent age collected in a cave of Capri Island (Italy) / Resti di Insettivori e Roditori di età recente raccolti in una grotta dell'isola di Capri (Italia)

open access: yesHystrix, the Italian Journal of Mammalogy, 1990
<strong>Abstract</strong> Remains of small mammals from a cave of Capri Island (Italy) were examined. They were collected together with other small vertebrates and are probably from pellets of birds of prey of subrecent age.

Tailoring the Electrochemical Performance of SnO2‐Based Anodes for Li‐Ion Batteries: Effect of Morphology and Composite Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 14, July 22, 2025.
Three different composite anodes, based on SnO2, are investigated as potential anode materials for lithium‐ion batteries. Three different strategies are employed to stabilize SnO2 upon cycling i.e., i) use of an inorganic matrix (TiO2), ii) use of an amorphous carbon matrix, and iii) use of SnO2 with a tailored morphology (nanorod) and a carbon coating.

Aprotic Electrolytes Beyond Organic Carbonates: Transport Properties of LiTFSI Solutions in S‐Based Solvents

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 9, May 5, 2025.
Extensive physico‐chemical characterizations of electrolytes obtained by dissolution of LiTFSI in sulphone‐based solvents and their mixtures are presented. Their conductive properties are discussed in connection with the structural description provided by Raman spectral evidence. Abstract This work illustrates a physico‐chemical study of the structural,

Habitat quality, water quality and otter distribution

open access: yesHystrix, the Italian Journal of Mammalogy, 1995
<strong>Abstract</strong> In recent decades the otter (<em>Lutra lutra</em>) has declined over much of Europe. Good habitat has been shown to be essential to otters. Specific elements of cover have been identified in some studies

Effect of Presodiation Additive on Structural and Interfacial Stability of Hard Carbon | P2‐Na0.66Mn0.75Ni0.2Mg0.05O2 Full Cell

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 7, Issue 12, December 2024.
A biowaste‐derived hard carbon and a P2 layered oxide are used in a full cell together with a sacrificial salt for presodiation. The decomposition of the salt polarizes phase transitions and increases the SEI thickness causing a worsening in the long‐term cell performance.
