Short forms of the Postpartum Depression Screening Scale: as accurate as the original form

Archives of Women's Mental Health, 2012
The aims of the present study were to develop three shorter forms of the Portuguese version of the Postpartum Depression Screening Scale (PDSS) as adapted and translated in Portugal, to analyse their psychometrics and to determine their cut-off points and associated conditional probabilities to screen for perinatal depression according to DSM-IV and ...

More Accurate Hilbert-Type Inequalities in a Difference Form

Results in Mathematics, 2018
In the present paper we establish several more accurate Hilbert-type inequalities in a difference form. Our main results rely on some recent improvements of the Young inequality. First, we give refinements and reverses of the H\"{; ; ; o}; ; ; lder inequality.

Accurate variational forms for multiskyrmion configurations

Nuclear Physics A, 1989
Abstract Simple variational forms are suggested for the fields of a single skyrmion on a hypersphere, S3(L), and of a face-centered cubic array of skyrmions in flat space, R3. The resulting energies are accurate at the level of 0.2%. These approximate field configurations provide a useful alternative to brute-force solutions of the corresponding ...

An accurate closed-form estimate of ICP's covariance

Proceedings 2007 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2007
Existing methods for estimating the covariance of the ICP (iterative closest/corresponding point) algorithm are either inaccurate or are computationally too expensive to be used online. This paper proposes a new method, based on the analysis of the error function being minimized.

Accurate closed-form solutions for fin-lines

1983 Eighth International Conference on Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 1983
Accurate closed-form expressions are derived for the theoretical prediction of equivalent dielectric constant, cutoff wavelength, and characteristic impedance of unilateral, bilateral and insulated fin-lines. The expressions developed on a physical basis are accurate to within ±0.6% and valid over the range of structural parameters 0 ≤ b/a ≤ 1, 1/32 ...

Accurate closed-form approximations to partition functions

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1991
We develop a method for obtaining accurate closed-form approximations to partition functions for all values of the temperature. The method is based on an alternative application of the Euler–Maclaurin summation formula and is therefore restricted to those partition functions which can be treated by such an approach.

Accurate Prediction of Springback in Forming of BIW Parts

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012
The use of High Strength Steels (HSS) for automotive parts improves car performance in terms of structural strength and weight reduction. However it poses major challenges to manufacturing since HSS is prone to springback. Springback causes deviation in part geometry from its intended design thus giving problem to its subsequent assembly process.

The value of accurate Program Information Forms

AirMed, 2002
Air Medical Journal 21:2 An important part of the accreditation process is completing the Program Information Form (PIF), which can be mailed on disc or E-mailed to the applicant. The PIF corresponds exactly to the current accreditation standards in effect so that each question is numbered the same as the standard referenced.
