Accurate Positioning Using Beamforming

2021 IEEE 18th Annual Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC), 2021
Precise positioning in indoor environments has recently begun to take on greater significance. The characteristics of new radio (NR), such as high frequency-based small cells and broader system bandwidth, can improve the accuracy of observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) positioning.

Towards centimeter accurate positioning with smartphones

2020 European Navigation Conference (ENC), 2020
Nowadays, Android enables the access of GNSS raw data and, thus, an in-depth evaluation of smartphone GNSS observations. We analysed and compared GNSS code and phase observations and the achievable position accuracies of three Android devices: tablet Google Nexus 9, smartphones Xiaomi Mi8 and Huawei P30.

On the accurate positioning of Geminga

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1997
Accuracy in the absolute position in the sky is one of the limiting factors for pulsar timing, and timing parameters have a direct impact on the understanding of the physics of Isolated Neutron Stars (INS). This is particularly true for Geminga, the only example of radio silent neutron star known so far.

Accurate Positions of CP 0950 and CP 1133

Nature, 1968
Further observations with the one mile radio telescope1 have recently been made in order to improve the accuracy of the positions of the four pulsed radio sources reported by Hewish et al. 2.

Accurate Positioning via Cross-Modality Training

Proceedings of the 13th ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems, 2015
In this paper we propose a novel algorithm for tracking people in highly dynamic industrial settings, such as construction sites. We observed both short term and long term changes in the environment; people were allowed to walk in different parts of the site on different days, the field of view of fixed cameras changed over time with the addition of ...
