A Stable Carbon‐Centered Radical Showing Six Amphoteric Redox States

Chemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 6, January 27, 2025.
A fully conjugated system built by alternate fusion of four benzene and three cyclopentadiene rings is a further rare example of an air‐ and moisture‐stable carbon‐centered hydrocarbon radical. It was synthesized by double ortho fusion and was extensively characterized by spectroscopic and computational methods.
