Acetone and perdeuterated acetone in UV-IMS [PDF]
Measuring a mixture of acetone and perdeuterated acetone (acetone-d6) with an ultra-high resolution drift time ion mobility spectrometer (resolving power of Rp = 235) and ultraviolet ionization (10.6 eV) at ambient pressure reveals three separated peaks. Two of the peaks can easily be associated with acetone and perdeuterated acetone.

Acetone Sensing Properties and Mechanism of SnO2 Thick-Films
In the present work, we investigated the acetone sensing characteristics and mechanism of SnO2 thick-films through experiments and DFT calculations. SnO2 thick film annealed at 600 °C could sensitively detect acetone vapors.

Acetone as an Anticonvulsant [PDF]
SummaryRecent interest in the anticonvulsant effects of acetone has stemmed from studies related to the ketogenic diet (KD). The KD, a high‐fat diet used to treat drug‐resistant seizures, raises blood and brain levels of three ketones: beta‐hydroxybutyrate, acetoacetate, and acetone.
