Choline‐protected genes correlated with clinical dementia rating, inflammation, and tauopathy in human AD samples, suggesting that adequate choline intake could be a preventive strategy for Alzheimer's disease (AD). ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD)—the leading cause of dementia—has no cure, inadequate treatment options, and a limited understanding of ...

Postnatal high fat (HF) feeding negatively impacts executive function in both adult and aged mice, but consumption of the same diet during the perinatal period only is beneficial in older age. Maternal HF diet is associated with increased cholinergic innervation of the prefrontal cortex of young, but not aged, offspring.

Inhibition of MMP9/13 restores both muSC behaviour and regeneration, while macrophage ablation enhances muSC recruitment to the injury, but fails to improve muscle repair in telomerase‐deficient zebrafish larvae. ABSTRACT Ageing progressively impairs skeletal muscle regeneration, contributing to reduced mobility and quality of life. While the molecular

Brain DNA methylation drives abnormal gene expression in AppNL‐G‐F mice. Perinatal choline supplementation may promote resilience to synaptic dysfunction through modulation of DNA methylation. ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia.

This real‐world study assessed whether varenicline improves outcomes in patients with ALD and AUD. Using data from a large electronic health record network, 1278 matched patients were analyzed. Varenicline use was associated with reduced all‐cause mortality and hepatic encephalopathy compared with FDA‐approved AUD therapies (acamprosate or naltrexone),
