Consensus on core domains for hand eczema trials: Signs, symptoms, control and quality of life

A core domain set for hand eczema was developed in an international consensus study with an online Delphi survey and a consensus meeting. Signs and symptoms of hand eczema, related quality of life and control over time should be measured in all future hand eczema therapeutic trials.

Abstract This study used fMRI to examine the effect that the abstract‐concrete dimension may have on the thematic‐taxonomic distinction. The dual hub theory (DHT) posits that left angular gyrus supports thematic relationships and left temporal pole supports taxonomic relationships; however, the DHT is largely based on evidence from concrete words.

ABSTRACT Background Parastomal hernia or bulging is a long‐recognised complication in relation to a stoma. Around half of patients develop a parastomal bulge and up to 75% experience symptoms. Only a minority is offered surgical treatment; thus, most patients manage the bulge on their own or by interventions provided by stoma care nurses.
