Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Heavy vehicle pitch dynamics and suspension tuning [PDF]
The influence of suspension tuning of passenger cars on bounce and pitch ride performance has been explored in a number of studies, while only minimal efforts have been made for establishing similar rules for heavy vehicles.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Achievability of linear systems up to bisimulation
Given a plant and another system called the desired system. we address the following question: when can we construct a third system called the controller, such that when attached to the plant the combined system behm'es like the desired system?

Nonasymptotic coding-rate bounds for binary erasure channels with feedback
We present nonasymptotic achievability and converse bounds on the maximum coding rate (for a fixed average error probability and a fixed average blocklength) of variable-length full-feedback (VLF) and variable-length stop-feedback (VLSF) codes operating ...

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

An Achievability Bound for Variable-Length Stop-Feedback Coding over the Gaussian Channel
Feedback holds a pivotal role in practical communication schemes, even though it does not enhance channel capacity. Its main attribute includes adaptability in transmission that allows for a higher rate of convergence of the error probability to zero ...

On the Achievability of Simulation-Based Security for Functional Encryption [PDF]
Recently, there has been rapid progress in the area of functional encryption (FE), in which a receiver with secret-key Sk_y can compute from an encryption of x the value F(x,y) for some functionality F.
