Acholeplasma laidlawii infection by group 3 mycoplasmavirus [PDF]

Abstract The infection of Acholeplasma laidlawii BCL-13 by a member of the group 3 mycoplasmavirus has been studied. An average of six progeny from every infected cell is found at 70 min after infection. Premature lysis experiments show that mature virus particles accumulate within infected cells prior to their release.
