1983
From the view point of the receiving ecosystem, a distinction is made between precipitation deposition and interception deposition. Long term mean values for both kinds of deposition are given for a deciduous and a coniferous forest in Central Europe (Soiling region). Interception deposition exceeds precipitation deposition especially in the coniferous

Deposition of Acid in Precipitation

1982
From the pH and electrical conductivity measured with the automatic precipitation analyser the fraction of total strong acids in precipitation water is derived. Below a pH value of 4, 3 the dissolved matter is dominated by acid. At higher pH values the acid fraction decreases rapidly.
