Risk Factors for Serious Hypotension Induced by Intravenous Acetaminophen in Patients With Hematologic Malignancy

open access: yesPharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, Volume 34, Issue 9, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Purpose Owing to their rapid antipyretic effects and predictable pharmacokinetic properties, acetaminophen (AAP) are commonly administered intravenously to severely ill patients. However, the potential development of hypotension as a consequence of intravenous AAP administration has not been thoroughly addressed.

An Evaluation of Alternative Treatment Strategies in Mitigating Colistin Resistance: Targeting Plasmid Transfer Through the Use of Bambermycin or the Protein Coded by the Mcr‐1 Gene With Antibodies and Streptomycin

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 5, September 2025.
Bambermycin showed synergistic effect with colistin on mcr‐1 positive E. coli strains. Colistin and MCR‐1 antibody mixture showed additive lethal effect on mcr‐1 strains. Bambermycin had no effect on the transfer of mcr‐1 bound plasmids between organisms.

Interaction of an Acinetobacter baumannii’s Membrane Protein with Human Fibronectin to Evade Immune Response

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 45, August 13, 2025.
Interaction of a membrane protein of Acinetobacter baumanii with human fibronectin unraveled using µs‐scale molecular dynamic simulations. Abstract Bacterial resistance and nosocomial infections are serious threats compromising public health in numerous countries.
