Association Between Moraxella catarrhalis and Nodular Lymphocyte‐Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma
ABSTRACT Nodular lymphocyte‐predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma (NLPHL) may be an antigen‐driven malignancy. Recent studies demonstrated that in NLPHL patients, lymphoma B‐cell receptor can bind proteins derived from Moraxella catarrhalis (MC) and Rothia mucilaginosa (RM). We examined whether MC and RM can be detected in NLPHL lymph nodes.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE TECHNOLOGY FOR SURFACTANT SYNTHESIS BY Acinetobacter calcoaceticus ІМV В-7241 [PDF]
The aim of the work was to intensify the synthesis of surfactants by Acinetobacter calcoaceticus IMV-7241 cultivated on ethanol and other carbon substrates. A. calcoaceticus IMV-7241 was grown in the medium with mono- (ethanol, glycerol, liquid paraffin,

Production of Biodispersan by Acinetobacter calcoaceticus A2 [PDF]
Bacterial strains A2 and HE5, isolated by enrichment culture techniques, were shown to produce extracellular, nondialyzable materials which disperse limestone powders in water. These materials are referred to as biodispersans. Strains A2 and HE5 were classified as Acinetobacter calcoaceticus by physiological and ...

The Microbiota‐Gut‐Brain Connection: A New Horizon in Neurological and Neuropsychiatric Disorders
The microbiota‐gut‐brain axis (MGBA) is a crucial regulator of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders, with gut microbiota dysbiosis linked to various diseases. Gut microbiota changes can lead to neurodegenerative diseases like depression, autism, schizophrenia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, anxiety, and autism ...

ABSTRACT Rhizorhabdus wittichii RW1 is known for its ability to degrade polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, such as dibenzo‐p‐dioxin (DD) and dibenzofuran (DF). We hypothesized that the R. wittichii RW1 benzoate 1,2‐dioxygenase shares electron transfer components with the DD/DF angular dioxygenase (DxnA1A2), similar to many aromatic hydrocarbon degrading

Purification and characterization of Acinetobacter calcoaceticus isocitrate lyase [PDF]
Acinetobacter calcoaceticus is capable of growing on acetate or compounds that are metabolized to acetate. During adaptation to growth on acetate, A. calcoaceticus B4 exhibits an increase in NADP(+)-isocitrate dehydrogenase and isocitrate lyase activities. In contrast, during adaptation to growth on acetate, Escherichia coli exhibits a decrease in NADP(
