ACM sheaves on the double plane

open access: yes, 2018
The goal of this paper is to start a study of aCM and Ulrich sheaves on non-integral projective varieties. We show that any aCM vector bundle of rank two on the double plane is a direct sum of line bundles.

Apolipoprotein F is reduced in humans with steatosis and controls plasma triglyceride‐rich lipoprotein metabolism

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Hepatic APOF transcript levels correlate inversely with plasma TG and hepatic steatosis in humans. ApoF expression in mice promotes VLDL‐TG production and lipoprotein remnant clearance in mice. Abstract Background NAFLD affects nearly 25% of the global population. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most common cause of death among patients with NAFLD,

Algebras of cubic matrices

open access: yes, 2016
We consider algebras of $m\times m\times m$-cubic matrices (with $m=1,2,\dots$). Since there are several kinds of multiplications of cubic matrices, one has to specify a multiplication first and then define an algebra of cubic matrices (ACM) with respect

Far-out Vertices In Weighted Repeated Configuration Model

open access: yes, 2012
We consider an edge-weighted uniform random graph with a given degree sequence (Repeated Configuration Model) which is a useful approximation for many real-world networks.

Quark ACM with topologically generated gluon mass

open access: yes, 2016
We investigate the effect of a small, gauge-invariant mass of the gluon on the anomalous chromomagnetic moment of quarks (ACM) by perturbative calculations at one loop level.

ACM Curriculum Reports: A Pedagogic Perspective [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, we illuminate themes that emerged in interviews with participants in the major curriculum recommendation efforts: we characterize the way the computing community interacts with and influences these reports and introduce the term “pedagogic

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Prospects of Electric Field Control in Perpendicular Magnetic Tunnel Junctions and Emerging 2D Spintronics for Ultralow Energy Memory and Logic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electric control of magnetic tunnel junctions offers a path to drastically reduce the energy requirements of the device. Electric field control of magnetization can be realized in a multitude of ways. These mechanisms can be integrated into existing spintronic devices to further reduce the operational energy.
