The Role of Digital Media in the Patient Journey of People With HS: Qualitative Interview Research

Digital media play a central but ambivalent role in the patient journey of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). While online platforms support symptom recognition, patient education and peer exchange, they may also contribute to misinformation, emotional distress and delayed diagnosis, highlighting the need for reliable, physician‐endorsed digital resources.
