Cumulative isotretinoin dosing, treatment response and acne relapse: A randomized controlled trial
In this randomized controlled trial, cumulative isotretinoin doses of 120 and 150 mg/kg showed similar relapse rates at 12 months. Both regimens achieved substantial and comparable reductions in inflammatory acne lesions across the face, chest and back.

ABSTRACT Setmelanotide is a melanocortin‐4‐receptor agonist used for the treatment of hyperphagia in the genetic obesity syndrome Bardet‐Biedl. Presented is a case of diffuse hyperpigmentation in a patient treated with setmelanotide, which represents the most common side effect of this medication.

In the present work with mouse models, we demonstrate that a novel compound, NEO400, is able to profoundly protect skin against damage caused by UV radiation (UVR) when it is applied to skin post‐UVR exposure. In comparison, Aloe vera or linoleic acid are unable to achieve a similar level of protection.
