Fiscal Constraints and the Power of Words: Does High Debt Mute the Fed?

open access: yesOxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We test whether high public debt is associated with reduced effectiveness of Federal Reserve communication. Using voice sentiment measures extracted from FOMC press conference Q&A sessions, we estimate local projections and find that high debt significantly attenuates the estimated association between voice sentiment and industrial production.

Understanding extracellular vesicle biology, isolation, and characterization: The theory of EV‐erything

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Extracellular vesicles (EVs), especially exosomes, are nanoparticles increasingly recognized as key regulators of intercellular communication in both physiological and pathological aspects. Despite rapid progress, inconsistencies in nomenclature, isolation, and characterization continue to restrict translational advancement.

Assessing working lands as habitat for disturbance‐dependent birds using autonomous recording units

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, EarlyView.
Abstract Introduction Working lands can provide habitat for declining disturbance‐dependent birds, such as Bachman's Sparrow (Peucaea aestivalis) and Northern Bobwhite (Colinus virginianus), but it remains unclear whether restoration following intensive land use (e.g. surface mining) yields habitat comparable to less intensive land uses (e.g.

Synergistic Regulation of Biomaterials and Macrophages: A Novel Paradigm in Immunotherapy

open access: yesMedComm – Biomaterials and Applications, Volume 5, Issue 4, December 2026.
Bioengineered materials mediating the modulation of macrophage plasticity and inflammatory signals in the tumor microenvironment effectively remodel immunoregulatory states, boost antitumor immunity, and promote tissue repair, achieving synergistic therapeutic outcomes.
