Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Acoustic parameters of violin vibrato [PDF]
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1986 Studies of vocal vibrato conducted in 1930 indicated that the great singers produced a pulsation rate ranging from 5.9–7.8 pulses per second (pps). Studies conducted during the last decade show singers' vibrato pulsations ranging from 4.9–6 pps. The slower pulsation rate of modern singers reflects a different aesthetic that prevails today.
