Exact solutions to the acoustic source reconstruction problem
In this study analytical solutions are derived for the singular radiation and velocity patterns of a baffled elastic beam, thus leading to closed-form expressions for the singular value expansion of a number of integral operators which map a boundary velocity onto the acoustic pressure distribution radiated in far-field or intermediate regions.

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Breaking the resolution limit in photoacoustic imaging using non-negativity and sparsity
The spatial resolution achievable in photoacoustic imaging decreases with the imaging depth, resulting in blurred images for deeper structures. Apart from technical limitations, the ultimate resolution limit results from the second law of thermodynamics.

METHOD FOR PLANE NEAR-FIELD ACOUSTIC HOLOGRAPHY BASED ON COMPRESSIVE SAMPLING AND ITS APPLICATION
In traditional plane near-field acoustic holography reconstruction process, regardless of wave number domain filter or regularization method, they cannot solve their own ill-posed problem, and thus cannot improve the reconstruction accuracy.
