From Waste to Value: Conversion of Calcium Sulfate to Vaterite via Carbon Capture and Storage
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.This study introduces a new concept for carbon management that relies on the carbonation of industrial gypsum waste and yields phase‐pure vaterite at ambient conditions without any additives. The obtained vaterite is further shown to be a reactive material that develops compressive strength in aqueous suspensions like conventional cements.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.AgCrP2S6 reveals a momentum‐indirect band edge (≈1.35 eV) and chain‐locked linear dichroism: the first direct transitions emerge at 1.6–1.8 eV for E||a. Resonant Raman and photoemission corroborate this assignment. Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A circular route, involving upcycling of waste surgical masks, affords a Mn‐based layered carbide with porosity, redox activity and low work function. These features enable its effective operation as positive supercapacitor electrode in an aqueous asymmetric supercapacitor delivering 213 Wh L−1 energy density.

智能科学与技术学报, 2021 光场是环境中光线的集合，对光场信息的采集、计算以及显示是极具挑战性的复杂问题。基于 ACP 的平行光场理论为解决此问题提供了一条新的有效途径。平行光场利用采集得到的实际物理世界的光场信息构建了增强的人工世界的光场，并且以采集得到的实际物理世界的光场信息为引导，在增强的人工世界的光场中进行光场实验，得到最优的光场采集方案或者显示虚实方案，最后通过平行执行的过程建立起物理世界的光场和人工世界的光场的联动优化，使整个系统成为闭环，实现智能的光场采集和显示，建立光场信息处理和应用的虚实结合的全新理论体系。
