Penanaman Karakter Positif Pelajar Melalui Pembahasan Fenomena-Fenomena Fisika dan Pendekatan Analogi (Hasil Kajian Perkulihan Fisika Dasar)

open access: yesJPFT (Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika dan Teknologi), 2017
The discussion results of Fundamental Physics I lecturing, especially the 1st Newton law about movement, law of Lenz, electromagnetic induction, and law of Bernoulli about pressure of flowing fluid show that in the concepts implicitly there is an action ...

Lie Group Statistics and Lie Group Machine Learning Based on Souriau Lie Groups Thermodynamics & Koszul-Souriau-Fisher Metric: New Entropy Definition as Generalized Casimir Invariant Function in Coadjoint Representation

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
In 1969, Jean-Marie Souriau introduced a “Lie Groups Thermodynamics” in Statistical Mechanics in the framework of Geometric Mechanics. This Souriau’s model considers the statistical mechanics of dynamic systems in their “space of evolution” associated to

Process and Time

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
In regards to the nature of time, it has become commonplace to hear physicists state that time does not exist and that the perception of time passing and of events occurring in time is an illusion. In this paper, I argue that physics is actually agnostic

Higher Lie algebra actions on Lie algebroids [PDF]

open access: yesJ. Geometry and Physics, Volume 64 (2013), pp. 155-173, 2010
We consider a simple instance of action up to homotopy. More precisely, we consider strict actions of DGLAs in degrees -1 and 0 on degree 1 NQ-manifolds. In a more conventional language this means: strict actions of Lie algebra crossed modules on Lie algebroids.

Integrative systems‐level analysis reveals a contextual crosstalk between hypoxia and global metabolism in human breast tumors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast tumor samples scored for metabolic deregulation (M1 to M3) were given a hypoxia score (HS). The highest HS occurred in patients with strongest metabolic deregulation (M3), supporting tumor aggressiveness. HS correlated with the highest number of metabolic pathways in M1. This suggests hypoxia to be an early event in metabolic deregulation.

Principles of Least Action in Urban Traffic Flow

open access: yesFindings, 2020
Drawing on the strong connection between traffic modelling and physics we apply the principle of least action to traffic flow in an urban setting.

More on the Isomorphism $SU(2)\otimes SU(2)\cong SO(4)$

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper we revisit the isomorphism $SU(2)\otimes SU(2)\cong SO(4)$ to apply to some subjects in Quantum Computation and Mathematical Physics. The unitary matrix $Q$ by Makhlin giving the isomorphism as an adjoint action is studied and generalized

Addressing persistent challenges in digital image analysis of cancer tissue: resources developed from a hackathon

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon

Supermembrane actions for Gaiotto-Maldacena backgrounds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We write down the supermembrane actions for M-theory backgrounds dual to general ${\cal N}=2$ four-dimensional superconformal field theories. The actions are given to all orders in fermions and are in a particular $\kappa$-gauge. When an extra U(1) isometry is present our actions reduce to $\kappa$-gauge fixed Green-Schwarz actions for the ...

Effects of Improvement: $f_\pi$ and $m_q$

open access: yes, 1995
We present a study of the effects of improvement on light-quark physics using the Fermilab formalism. The calculations were performed at three different lattice spacings, with the SW action and traditional Wilson action (both tadpole improved).
