Thermally activated flux motion in MgCNi3

Abstract The time decay of the non-equilibrium magnetization of superconductor MgCNi 3 is studied. It is found that the superconducting diamagnetic moment is logarithmically dependent on time. Activated flux TIG welding of titanium

Welding in the World, 2013
Metallurgical characterization and qualification of activated flux TIG (ATIG) weld joints of titanium produced using in-house developed activating flux are presented. The flux formulation was optimized after carrying out trials with different sets of flux powders and subsequent metallographic observation of weld bead profile.

Stellar magnetic activity is measured by various chromospheric and transition-region line fluxes and by the coronal X-ray flux. Schrijver (1983, 1985a) and Rutten and Schrijver (1985) demonstrate that the surface flux density is the most suitable measure of stellar activity.
