Activation Energies and Beyond [PDF]
Recent advances in the calculation and interpretation of the activation energy for a dynamical process are described. Specifically, new approaches that apply the fluctuation theory of statistical mechanics to dynamics enable the direct determination of the activation energy for an arbitrary dynamical time scale from simulations at a single temperature.

From free-energy profiles to activation free energies
Given a chemical reaction going from reactant (R) to the product (P) on a potential energy surface (PES) and a collective variable (CV) discriminating between R and P, we define the free-energy profile (FEP) as the logarithm of the marginal Boltzmann distribution of the CV. This FEP is not a true free energy. Nevertheless, it is common to treat the FEP

Enhancement of thermal properties of Al/MoO3 thermite by electrostatic spraying
To improve the thermal properties of thermite safely and stably, electrostatic spraying was used to prepare the Al/MoO3 thermite. The Al/MoO3 thermites were detected and characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and
