A New Control Scheme for Load Side Converter of Stand‐Alone Doubly Fed Induction Generator

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
In this paper, a simple and novel control strategy for a stand‐alone doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)‐based wind turbine under combined unbalanced and non‐linear loads is presented.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

A study on transient enhancement for fault diagnosis based on an active noise control system [PDF]

open access: yes
Active noise control (ANC) is a more effective technique used for acoustic noise cancelation in comparison with passive approaches which are difficult and expensive to implement, especially for cancelling the noise in the low frequency range.

VHF active filter design [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Above 100 megahertz, conventional coils and capacitors create design problems. Stray capacitance and inductance often dominate and unwanted coupling occurs. The Q values tend to drop off and stability degrades. Experienced RF filter designers report that

LCL APF control strategy based on model predictive control

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
In order to further control harmonic current in distribution network, a LCL APF control strategy based on model predictive control is proposed. Firstly, APF mathematical model is established.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Switched capacitor networks : a novel prewarping procedure [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
Bibliography: leaves 152-157.Novel methods for prewarping filter specifications prior to realization. in Switched Capacitor (SC) form are presented. These allow the design of arbitrary response requirements, exhibiting a low amount of error that normally

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Interferon beta drives therapy resistance in a patient‐derived model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Interferon type 1 (IFN‐1) production and signaling is associated with the acquisition of therapy resistance, following chronic DNA damage, via Interferon‐related DNA damage resistance signature (IRDS) gene expression. An alternative, DNA damage‐independent role of sustained IFN‐1 mediated resistance was identified and characterized by the emergence of ...
