PLGA‐particle‐based vaccine induces SARS‐CoV‐2‐specific antibody and T‐cell responses

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
A novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) vaccine encapsulating recombinant severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) spike receptor binding domain (RBD) with the double stranded RNA (dsRNA) analogue Riboxxim induces robust systemic and respiratory T‐ and B‐cell responses in mice.

A Scoping Review of Public Health Approaches to Child Maltreatment Prevention With Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Families in Australia

open access: yesChild &Family Social Work, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are grossly overrepresented in statutory child protection systems across all Australian States and Territories, with the continuing impact of colonisation and cycles of intergenerational trauma weighing heavily on many Aboriginal families.

Corporate Lobbying as Anticompetitive Behaviour in the EU

open access: yesEuropean Law Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Despite the influence of ordoliberalism in EU law, the mutual feedback between market power and political influence of dominant corporations has not become an explicit consideration in competition law enforcement and has remained rather in the background as an implicit rationale. If the threats to competition posed by regulatory capture are to

Suppression of Indoleamine 2,3‐Dioxygenase Enhances Immune Responses to the Therapeutic Vaccine for Chronic Hepatitis B

open access: yesHepatology Research, EarlyView.
Indoleamine 2,3‐dioxygenase (IDO) activity modulates immune responses to the therapeutic HBV vaccine NASVAC. Genetic or pharmacological suppression of IDO enhanced vaccine efficacy in mice, and lower serum kynurenine levels predicted favorable responses in humans, suggesting IDO as both a therapeutic target and a biomarker.

Updated Burden and Long‐Term Projections of Chronic Hepatitis B and C in Japan: A Nationwide Markov Modeling Study

open access: yesHepatology Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections remain major causes of liver‐related morbidity and mortality worldwide. Although Japan has implemented nationwide screening and treatment programs for decades, updated nationwide estimates and long‐term projections are limited.

IL‐2 silencing enables Tfh cell expansion during vaccination but is redundant for antibody production

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, EarlyView.
Sustained IL‐2 production delays T follicular helper cell differentiation and germinal center formation but does not alter final antibody titers or antigen‐specific humoral immunity after vaccination. Created in BioRender. Burton, A. (2026) https://BioRender.com/paggz41 Abstract Vaccines stimulate protective humoral immunity by coordinating lymphocyte ...
