Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Influence of the semi-insulating GaAs Schottky pad on the Schottky barrier in the active layer
The influence of the sidegate voltage on the Schottky barrier in the ion-implanted active layer via the Schottky pad on the semi-insulating GaAs substrate was observed, and the mechanism for such an influence was proposed.

Water-soluble poly(ferrocenylsilane) (PFS) and poly(styrenesulfonate) (PSS) of alternating charge are shown to self-assemble in a layer-by-layer fashion on primed Au, Si, and quartz substrates to create the first examples of organic−organometallic ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

Activation-Guided Layer Selection for LoRA
Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) has become a widely adopted parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT) technique for large language models (LLMs). LoRA’s benefits stem from its light weight and modular adapters. Standard LoRA applies adapters uniformly across all Transformer layers, implicitly assuming that each layer contributes equally to task adaptation ...

Process Practice and its Effects on Surface Defects on Flexible PV Barrier Films
To the present day, there is still an increasing interest in the development of Cu (In, Ga) Se2 (CIGS) thin film solar cells on flexible polyimide substrates. These cells offer advantages of low cost, light weight and excellent radiation hardness as well
