An Organic Active-Matrix Imager

IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 2008
In this paper, a proof of concept 4 x 4 active-matrix imager fabricated at near room temperature (< 95 degC) is presented. Conventional photolithography and inkjet printing were used to pattern integrated organic FETs and photoconductors. The design and characterization of a pixel circuit is described. A simple first-order calibration technique is used

3.4: Flexible Active‐Matrix Displays

SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2005
Abstract Plastic Logic has developed a process for organic TFT backplane deposition that is fully compatible with low glass transition temperature, inexpensive plastic substrates. We have combined backplanes made with this process with microencapsulated electrophoretic imaging films to make 50 and 100PPI displays that are flexible ...

Active Matrix Completion for Algorithm Selection

2019
The present work accommodates active matrix completion to generate cheap and informative incomplete algorithm selection datasets. Algorithm selection is being used to detect the best possible algorithm(s) for a given problem (\(\sim \) instance). Although its success has been shown in varying problem domains, the performance of an algorithm selection ...

ACTIVE MATRIX ELECTROLUMINESCENT DISPLAY DEVICE

2001
An active matrix electroluminescent display device comprises an array of display pixels (10) which each include a current-driven electroluminescent display element (20) connected to a driving device (22) controlling the current flowing through the display element in a drive period according to a voltage stored on a capacitance (36) determined by a data

Active-Matrix Liquid-Crystal Displays

2000
The active-matrix liquid-crystal display (AMLCD) is a flat-panel display in which the display medium is liquid crystal and each picture element (pixel) is driven by such active devices as diodes or transistors. These active devices are arranged in rows and columns on a glass substrate to control each pixel, and hence the name of active matrix.
