Sound transmission across a plenum window with an active noise cancellation system
A series of experiments was conducted in the present study in an attempt to understand how the implementation of active noise control would affect the sound transmission across a plenum window.

Noise reduction mechanisms of active noise barriers [PDF]
The sound field and acoustic power flow from different regions around an active noise barrier are analyzed using a two-dimensional numerical model. Results show that the noise reduction of the active noise barrier can be described as a combination of ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

An adaptive algorithm, based on modified tanh non-linearity and fractional processing, for impulsive active noise control systems [PDF]
This paper presents an adaptive algorithm for active control of noise sources that are of impulsive nature. The impulsive type sources can be better modeled as a stable distribution than the Gaussian.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Practical application of active noise control in a duct using predictive control [PDF]
This paper presents a practical application of Active Noise Control (ANC) using the Generalised Predictive Control (GPC) algorithm. The main objective of this application was to reduce significantly the noise level in a duct using this technique.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
