A hysteretic model of queuing system with fuzzy logic active queue management
We consider a data transmitting system with an active queue management designed to prevent overloading, where fuzzy logic controller is used.We developed a mathematical model that takes into account the features of the data transfer system with an active

Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Improvement of control at network node based on fuzzy controls [PDF]
One of the main tasks of controlling communications at the network node is managing the queues, maintaining a reasonable probability of proactive packet removal to minimize congestion, while ensuring the quality of traffic flows and equity in ...

About the stability of active queue management mechanisms
In this paper, we discuss the influence of multiple bottlenecks on the stability of active queue management (AQM) controllers, usually configured on a single bottleneck basis. To see this, we consider a network scenario where RED is configured at each router according to previously developed control theoretic techniques.

Autonomous X‐Ray Fluorescence Mapping for Nanoscale Chemical Speciation of Fine Particulate Matter
We present X‐AutoMap, an autonomous X‐ray fluorescence mapping framework that integrates real‐time analysis with rule‐based computer vision to selectively target chemically relevant regions. By avoiding background‐dominated areas, the method reduces acquisition time by fourfold while enabling accurate particle‐level speciation.

Buffer with N Policy and Active Management
The N policy is a buffer and transmission management scheme proposed for nodes in wireless sensor networks to save energy. It exploits the concept that the output radio of a node is initially switched off until a critical queue of packets is built up ...

Abstract This review analyzed 241 scholarly articles published between 2010 and 2025 in information science venues to examine how affect shapes refugees' information behavior during forced migration and to identify additional contextual factors. It identifies seven affective dimensions: anxiety, shame and stigma, grief and loss, frustration, (mis)trust,

QoS-Aware Active Queue Management for Multimedia Services over the Internet
Recently, with multimedia services such as IPTV, video conferencing has emerged as a main traffic source. When UDP coexists with TCP, it induces not only congestion collapse but also an unfairness problem.

The use of a non-integer order PI controller with an active queue management mechanism
In this paper the performance of a fractional order PI controller is compared with that of RED, a well-known active queue management (AQM) mechanism. The article uses fluid flow approximation and discrete-event simulation to investigate the influence of ...

On the Transient Queue with the Dropping Function
We deal with a queueing system, in which arriving packets are being dropped with the probability depending on the queue size. Such a scheme is used in several active queue management schemes proposed for Internet routers.
