Lone‐Pair‐Induced Lattice Distortion in Lead‐Free Hybrid Perovskites for High‐Performance Nanogenerators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A lead‐free tin‐based hybrid perovskite is designed in which stereochemically active lone‐pair electrons on tin distort the crystal lattice and break its symmetry. Blended into a flexible polymer, the material converts pressure into electricity at milliwatt‐scale power density and continues working far below freezing, powering a commercial wristwatch ...

CAGE-miR-140-5p-Wnt1 Axis Regulates Autophagic Flux, Tumorigenic Potential of Mouse Colon Cancer Cells and Cellular Interactions Mediated by Exosomes

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology, 2019
Although the cancer/testis antigen CAGE has been implicated in tumorigenesis, the molecular mechanisms of CAGE-promoted tumorigenesis remain largely unknown.

CAGE-seq clusters

open access: yes, 2022
Cluster count table from frontal CAGE-seq data of RiMod-FTD resource (https://www.rimod-ftd.org/). The data was processed as follows: Sequencing adapters and barcodes in CAGE-seq FastQ files were trimmed using Skewer (v.0.1.126).

In Situ Interfacial Assembly of Dynamic Semi‐Interpenetrating Biopolymer Networks for Robust and Mechanically Adaptive Droplet Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A dynamic interfacial semi‐interpenetrating polymer network is constructed by sequential assembly of β‐sheet‐rich SF and CS‐RL. The SF framework provides mechanical strength, while dynamically associated CS‐RL enables local rearrangement, allowing droplets to rapidly reconfigure without loss of interfacial integrity.

Effect of environmental enrichment and group size on behaviour and live weight in growing rabbits

open access: yesWorld Rabbit Science, 2012
The aim of this research was to study the effects of group size and environmental enrichment on behaviour and growth of 108 hybrid growing rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus). We compared the behaviour (time budget and reactions to specific behavioural tests:

Programming Neuromorphic Plasticity Through Ionic and Electronic Coupling in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Neuromorphic plasticity in OECTs is governed by the post‐stimulus evolution of coupled ionic and electronic states. Semiconductor chemistry and morphology, electrolyte composition and interfaces, and device architecture regulate ion injection, transport, confinement, and release, shifting responses from rapidly relaxing STP to metastable memory and ...

Transdermal delivery of nobiletin using ionic liquids

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2019
Nobiletin (NOB), a flavonoid, has extremely low water solubility and low oral bioavailability; however, despite these problems, various physiological effects have been investigated in vitro.

Anti‐Inflammatory and Neuroactive Effects of Polymer‐Coated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Functionalized With Interleukin 4 for Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐coated IONPs functionalized with IL‐4 display respective neuroactive and anti‐inflammatory actions on neural progenitor cells and macrophages/microglia in vitro. When examined chronically in a rat experimental model of spinal cord injury, rGO scaffolds carrying these nanosystems adequately integrate into the lesion, significantly reduce ...

Topically Delivered Treg‐Attracting Microparticle‐Hydrogel Composites Recruit Regulatory T Cells and Limit Cardiac Injury After Severe Ischemia

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
CCL22‐releasing PLGA microparticles (MP) suspended in topically applied hydrogels (HEART) establish a sustained chemokine gradient at the injured myocardium. HEART recruits CCR4+ regulatory T cells, reduces infarct size and graft fibrosis, and improves cardiac function.

From 0 John Cage

open access: yes, 1995
This program provides a unique opportunity to see the late composer, John Cage, discuss favorite subjects such as harmony, chance, and the purpose of music. Cage recounts biographical anecdotes and describe the influence of Marcel Duchamp, Finnegans Wake,
