Fault-tolerant control for over-actuated systems with actuator fault and input saturation

2018 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2018
This paper proposes a novel fault-tolerant tracking control strategy for over-actuated systems subject to actuator fault, control input saturation and external disturbance. The proposed method integrates the effect of actuator saturation and the actuator fault into a generalized disturbance.

Adaptive fault-tolerant tracking control against actuator faults

2006 American Control Conference, 2006
This paper deals with the problem of flight tracking control against actuator faults based on linear matrix inequality (LMI) method and adaptive method. The type of faults under consideration is loss of actuator effectiveness. An adaptive fault-tolerant flight controller design method is developed based on the on-line estimation of an eventual fault ...

T–S Fuzzy Sampled-Data Control for Nonlinear Systems With Actuator Faults and Its Application to Wind Energy System

IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2022
This article concerns the problem of stability analysis of nonlinear systems under the sampled-data control (SDC) with actuator faults. The addressed nonlinear systems can be expressed by a number of linear arrangements, based on the Takagi–Sugeno (T–S ...

Fault-Tolerant Containment Control for IT2 Fuzzy Networked Multiagent Systems Against Denial-of-Service Attacks and Actuator Faults

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2021
This article investigates the fault-tolerant containment control issue for uncertain nonlinear networked multiagent systems (MASs) under denial-of-service (DoS) attacks and actuator faults by interval type-2 (IT2) Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model.

Neural Network-Based Adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control for Markovian Jump Systems With Nonlinearity and Actuator Faults

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2021
The fault-tolerant control (FTC) issue is considered in this article for Markovian jump systems (MJSs) in which both nonlinearity and actuator faults exist simultaneously. The existed nonlinearity in the considered MJSs means that there exist limitations

Actuator Fault Tolerant PID Controllers

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2012
Abstract This paper deals with issues of actuator fault tolerant PID controllers. It is studied, how residual generation based on a linear model is affected by the robust properties of a PID used in feedback. To get the sensitivity of the residual with respect to faults and to keep the robustness of the controller, a scheme is proposed with a non ...
