NonLinear Fault Tolerant Flight Control for generic actuators fault models

2014 American Control Conference, 2014
This paper presents an Active Fault Tolerant Flight Control applied to an aircraft nonlinear longitudinal model in presence of simultaneous faults on both elevator and thrust actuators. The overall control system is based on a Fault Detection and Diagnosis module, designed by the NonLinear Geometric Approach, allowing fault isolation.

ROBUST FAULT-TOLERANT CONTROL ARCHITECTURE–ACTUATOR FAULT DETECTION AND RECONFIGURATION

Control and Intelligent Systems, 2010
Summary: Developing a fault-tolerant robust control architecture for a class of nonlinear, non-parameterizable, uncertain systems is investigated. Robust measures are developed to identify faculty actuators that would degrade the performance envelopes. These robust measures are in turn used to design a robust fault-tolerant control law which is capable

Distributed Adaptive Secure Consensus Tracking Control for Asynchronous Switching Nonlinear MASs Under Sensor Attacks and Actuator Faults

IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering
A distributed adaptive secure control algorithm is proposed for asynchronous switching nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) in pure-feedback form while considering the sensor attacks and actuator faults, which eliminates the effect of attack signals ...

Distributed Resilient Observer-Based Fault-Tolerant Control for Heterogeneous Multiagent Systems Under Actuator Faults and DoS Attacks

IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems, 2020
In this article, we investigate the distributed resilient observer-based fault-tolerant control problem for heterogeneous linear multiagent systems in the presence of actuator faults and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.

Fuzzy Adaptive Containment Control for Nonlinear Multi-Manipulator Systems With Actuator Faults and Predefined Accuracy

IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering
Compensating for the infinite number of actuator faults considered in nonlinear multi-manipulator systems is a significant, yet a crucial issue for control problems. In view of this, a novel fuzzy adaptive fault-tolerant control algorithm is proposed for

Fault-tolerant Compensation Control Incorporating Actuator Criticality

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2012
In this paper, actuator criticality analysis is integrated in the design of active fault-tolerant control systems. The main objective consists in the fault-tolerant controller synthesis which guarantees a highest overall system reliability while still maintaining immediate stability and tracking performance of reconfigured system. To achieve this task,

Fault-tolerant Control for Multi-agent with Actuator Fault

2020 39th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2020
This paper proposes a distributed adaptive control approach based on consensus theory so that a multi-agent formation can still complete the task despite the local fault of the leader for the multi-agent formation system. The controlled object consists of four agents that form a triangle formation system, where one agent acts as the vertex of the ...

Robust and Reliable Output Feedback Control for Uncertain Networked Control Systems Against Actuator Faults

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2021
In this study, first, a comprehensive model is introduced to model actuator faults, and then a novel fault-tolerant control (FTC) strategy is proposed to compensate the loss of actuator’s effectiveness in networked control systems (NCSs).
