Ptgs2+ CPTC Function as a "Force-Immune Axis" by Responding to Acupuncture and Mediating M2 Macrophage Activation for Anti-Inflammatory Effects. [PDF]
CPTCs with six subpopulations accounted for the primary cell type in rat AMF. Among these, the Ptgs2+ CPTC subpopulation was capable of responding to mechanical stimulus. They enhanced cell adhesions with all CPTC subpopulations after acupuncture stimulation.
