Interplay of integrins and selectins in metastasis
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Here we review the role of integrins and their interplay with selectins in metastasis. The efficacy of integrin‐targeted therapies may be reduced in tumors where metastasis relies heavily on selectins. In certain tumors, integrins and selectins exhibit a synergistic interaction during intraperitoneal dissemination.

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

Troxacitabine in acute leukemia
Hematology, 2007 Troxacitabine (Troxatyl; BCH-4556; (-)-2'-deoxy-3'-oxacytadine) is the first synthetic l-nucleoside enantiomer to demonstrate broad spectrum cytotoxic activity. It was obtained by exchanging the sulphur endocyclic atom with oxygen in the structure of lamivudine, following the discovery that this agent had cytotoxic, as well as anti-viral activity.

Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.
