EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

ANT INTELLIGENCE ROUTING

open access: yesASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development, 2017
We introduce AIR, a new ant-based routing protocol for ad hoc wireless networks. AIR incorporates recent technology advances in ad hoc routing protocols, such as ring-based searching and third-party reply, while retaining the characteristics and benefits

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Quorum based geographically static data storage in ad-hoc networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Large-scale wireless ad-hoc networks are formed automatically and allow nodes to communicate over greater distances. Every node acts as a router forming a complex network, which is simplified by the use of geodesic routing.

Comparative research on the formation of backbone media of wireless self-organizing network by DLA-GF algorithm and ant colony algorithm

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2022
A mobile ad hoc network is a complicated distributed system organized by mobile terminals or wireless nodes through wireless connections. The mobile ad hoc network is suitable for those who lack basic communication equipment or do not have technical ...

MIMO Communications in Ad Hoc Networks [PDF]

open access: yes2005 IEEE 61st Vehicular Technology Conference, 2005
We consider MIMO (multiple-input multiple output) communications in an ad hoc network with K simultaneous communicating transceiver pairs. In particular, we compare channelized MIMO transmission and the MIMO interference transmission using the inherent multiplexing gain of multiple transmit/receive antennas.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Communication issues in Large Scale Wireless Ad hoc Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Ad-hoc networks are networks that are formed automatically without any pre-existing infrastructure. These networks may consist of various types of mobile devices . such as PDAs, laptops, cell phones and other mobile computing devices.

Neighbourhood-aware counter-based broadcast scheme for wireless ad hoc networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Broadcasting is a vital operation in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) and it is crucial to enhance its efficiency to ensure successful deployment. Although flooding is ideal for broadcast operations due to its simplicity and high reachability it ...
