Spatiotemporal correlation–based adaptive sampling algorithm for clustered wireless sensor networks
Energy efficiency is one of the most crucial concerns for WSNs, and almost all researches assume that the process for data transmission consumes more energy than that of data collection.

Towards data-centric control of sensor networks through Bayesian dynamic linear modelling
Wireless sensor networks usually operate in dynamic, stochastic environments. While the behaviour of individual nodes is important, they are better seen as contributors to a larger mission, and managing the sensing quality and performance of these ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Adaptive sampling in ecology: Key challenges and future opportunities
Traditional ecological monitoring employs fixed designs, which do not vary over the survey duration. Adaptive sampling, whereby the data already collected informs a sampling design which changes over the course of the study, can provide a more optimal ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Effect of Family-Based Psychological and Educational Interventions on Improving Adaptive Behaviors in Students with Intellectual Impairment [PDF]
The present study aimed to investigate effects of family-based psychological and educational interventions on improving adaptive behaviors of school students with mental impairment. It followed a semi-experimental research design.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Empirical likelihood confidence intervals for complex sampling designs
We define an empirical likelihood approach which gives consistent design-based confidence intervals which can be calculated without the need of variance estimates, design effects, resampling, joint inclusion probabilities and linearization, even when the
