Powders for powder bed fusion: a review
S.383-397The quality of powder used in powder bed-based additive manufacturing plays a key role concerning process performance and end part properties. Even though this is a generally accepted fact, there is still a lack of a comprehensive understanding ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Laser induced hydrophobicity on the TI6AL4V additive manufacturing parts
The widespread adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) is always challenged by the quality of the AM part. In the current context many efforts are focusing on the internal quality such as porosity, mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy but not

Generalized Fractional Total Colorings of Complete Graph
An additive and hereditary property of graphs is a class of simple graphs which is closed under unions, subgraphs and isomorphism. Let P and Q be two additive and hereditary graph properties and let r, s be integers such that r ≥ s Then an fractional (P,

Previously, it has been shown that the psychophysical law known as Pi´ eron’s Law holds for colour intensity and that the size of the effect is additive with that of Stroop condition (Stafford, Gurney & Ingram, in press).
